My customer
is your typical college student, so hobbies are either school (because top 10
university) or midtown. Either route is time consuming and expensive. They drive
either a Truck, Beamer or a Volkswagen; there is no in between. When they aren’t
doing the homework they are supposed to be doing, they are binge watching Netflix
or Hulu, the only other exception is the Bachelor. The odds of any of my
consumers bearing children is slim to none, but we are in a college town and
things can get out of hand when people aren’t smart, that being said my consumers
still are or act like children. Their favorite books range from Organic
Chemistry 8th Edition by William H. Brown to Physics 10th Edition by David
Young.
My consumers
typically range from 18-22, however there are always a couple outliers being
younger or older. The age they feel depends the day, how hard classes are, how
hard they went at midtown the night before, if moneys running low and there’s
bills to be paid, everyone is different. Most often then not they will fool around
freshman year and get their act together by sophomore year, where they will
also have lost their freshman 50 (yes 50). In the end however of these four (or
five) years of your life, my consumer has had the best or has prepared themselves
for the most hectic years of their future. Adulting is hard but at the end of it
all they have experienced glimpses of the real world meanwhile making memories
and friends that will last a life time. My consumers will then relive the good
ole days with pride and remember that UF decided to improve scooter parking!
Hi Melody,
ReplyDeleteYour post was very fun to read. Your prototypical customer was very relatable and I could imagine her walking around campus or in the library. It is good that you are able to build such a strong story for your customer. That means you have a great idea on who you are selling to, making it easier to market to them.
