1.     Elizabeth Rizzo: FIU Administrator

·       Domain Expert

·       Mrs. Rizzo is my friend Alyssa Rizzo’s mom, who is in the Innovation Academy with me and also this course. Although she is not an expert in the field of providing parking and building garages that are high tech, she does obtain a faculty position at a university that obtains the high-tech garages I want to bring to UF. My contact was strictly email for she is very busy.

·       Mrs. Rizzo gave me the ups and downs of the garage system, although the garage is a big hit at the university there still seems to be no space, which deems that UF needs to incorporate the system but bigger.

·       I believe that Mrs. Rizzo is an expert in the field for she uses the garage system every day and knows from first-hand experience what is amazing yet faulty of the product, which will make the transition of this parking system to UF easier.

2.     Armando Rizzo: Architect

·       Market Expert

·       Mr. Rizzo is as you can see Alyssa’s dad and owns his own company called Rizzo and Carreno and Partners. He has designed numerous parking garages like the one I want to bring to UF. Again, communication is through email due to his busy schedule.

·       Mr. Rizzo gave me the budgetary plan for such a garage and told me all the legal aspects to one as well; in terms of what I would have to get approved through the university and county.

·       I believe Mr. Rizzo would understand the expense and the market of the product I want to provide for he has not just thought of the idea but contracted a plan and executed it as well.

3.     Dennis Yale: Contractor

·       Supplier

·       Mr. Dennis is a family friend that built my home and has done the physical building and contracting of not just homes but garages for big corporations through Dennis Contracting. Since we are close I got information in an interview setting.

·       Mr. Dennis told me the aspects of contracting and what we would need in terms of budget to pay those working to build the physical structure. He also told me the timeframe of how long it would take to build such a garage and numbers in the context of how many men were needed and for how many hours per day.

·       I believe Mr. Dennis is the other half to Mr. Rizzo’s ordeal. Together they can give me the optimal amount of advice for the best product I want to bring to the University Florida.

Reflection

·       This assignment prepared me for the networking I will need to do in the future to talk to multiple people about providing the best product/business. It allowed me to be prepared for the future and be comfortable about asking certain questions to get the truth.
